Salvage Dawgs visits Valley Pike

On Sunday, October 15th, Valley Pike Farm Market was featured on Season 8, episode 8 of Salvage Dawgs! The episode focuses on a project in Grottoes, VA at the Cosby Brothers Mill where Mike and Robert salvage some old mill parts and items from the local barn. The team then traveled down the road for a stop in at Valley Pike Farm Market! Mike and Robert meet with David Gardner, our owner to talk about the barns history. The featured mentioned how our community has a place to gather with friends and family over local foods and our favorite craft beers and wines. The adaptive reuse of this beautiful barn has really been a beautiful project and we think the Salvage Dawgs might have loved it just as much as we do! Catch us on reruns on HGTV's DIY Network!

Our barn isn't shipped from a large company, it's born and bred right here in the Shenandoah Valley (just in a different spot than it was in the 1800's). To make this old Virginia barn new again we had lots of help, lots of local help!
